Fernando has a record of helping clients solve their most complex cross-border legal disputes.  He has regularly represented clients in cases exceeding $100 million in controversy, and he has taken on the largest companies and law firms in the Americas and won. With particular experience in arbitration and litigation involving Latin America, he has represented clients in ICC, ICDR, and ICSID arbitration as well as litigation in federal and state courts throughout the US.

Fernando has recently been inducted as a Fellow in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Ms. Kim's practice centers on the representation of sovereign States in complex and high-stakes international arbitration and public international law matters in an array of disputes ranging from US$ 5 million to US$ 7 billion. As a former Legal Officer at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, she is experienced in disputes between investors and States under investment treaties as well as the negotiation of investment treaties, having been part of the Korean delegation to UNCITRAL Working Group III on ISDS reform and the fourth amendment of ICSID Rules and Regulations.

Luis is a Peruvian attorney* with proven academic and work experience in Latin America, Europe, and Spain. He has longstanding experience assisting businesses, investors, and States in international arbitration cases carried out in English, Spanish, and Portuguese under the laws of numerous jurisdictions and under the rules of the major arbitration institutions (ICC, ICSID, ICDR, LCIA, UNCITRAL). Luis' core international dispute-resolution focus is on energy, mining, infrastructure, and investor-state relationships, among others.
